A commitment to acknowledge the residual trauma inflicted on the peoples of Australia's First Nations. A commitment to work towards healing that trauma in respectful consultation with indigenous communities.

Acknowledge that Australia had a thriving indigenous population when Cook arrived and British colonisation began. Commitment to healing of past injustice led by First Nation population.
