Do you support recognising Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples by changing the Constitution or making some other kind of legal change?
Yes

The change should recognise Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the first peoples of Australia, of the importance of their languages, culture and knowledge of the land and that these languages, cultural values and knowledge be recognised as eq
Should we have a statement that acknowledges the First Peoples of Australia?
Yes. This should be in the Constitution.
Where is the best place to put it?
At the beginning.
What should the statement say?
Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people welcome all Australians from all nations of the world and all cultural backgrounds to this land and ask that you all join together with us, the first nations people of Australia, in creating a peaceful, equal a
Do you have any other comments on a statement about the First Peoples of Australia?
To much Aboriginal and Torres Straits peoples knowledge of the land and sea and its offerings along with languages have been squandered into oblivion since 1770. This knowledge needs to be relearnt and placed in the school curriculum next to Maths, Englis

Yes
Should a new Indigenous group be set up under the Constitution to give advice and make sure Indigenous people have a voice in political decisions that affect them?
I don't know
Do you have any other comments on this Indigenous group?
If this indigenous group is created, it has to be made up of regional elders (men and women) (Not Business Men) from many regions and the people chosen must work together with each other to best represent all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples.
Should we delete section 25?
Yes
What would we achieve by getting rid of section 25?
Democracy
Is there any point in keeping it?
Maybe but with the below changed and the term race dropped.
Do you have any other comments?
Perhaps people with highly violent convictions or convicted of high-level white collar crimes or religious fanatics that have proven connection to terrorism should be banned for voting. But not for a persons race.
