It should acknowledge that aboriginal people were the first inhabitants of the land and had the right to use the land in accordance with their beliefs . It's should also acknowledge that these rights were subjugated to the British without any consultation

Something about the contribution to Australia's culture and values that at last the position of aboriginal people will be recognised

Current laws have done little for aboriginal people because of a lack of consultation and lack of knowledge of politicians. The disgraceful treatment of and policies regarding aboriginal people to date have in fact been detrimental. Our laws should benef

I'm in favour of a treaty which would let all Australians know that as a country we value aboriginal culture and participation.it would also give aboriginal people a sense of self determination and self esteem
