Yes. This should be in the Constitution.

There should be a couple of places for it - in the pre-amble but also within the body of constitution at the apropriate places

It should indicate that souvrenty was never ceded, acknowledge the First People of Australia and our special links and responsibilities to country that are ongoing to this day and beyond

This should not be the be all and end of changes at this time. It is not to stand alone, but be part of several changes to the constitution.

I don't trust the Australian Parliament to always make laws for the 'good' of our people, if anyone is going to make these laws just for Aboriginal people, it should be our own mob - therefore we need our own voice with powers to be able to do so

Governments should not be able to suspend this laws in order to be able to target sections of our community (Aboriginal or non)
